Each week my coats seem to get a little thicker as the temperature drops, and soon it'll be time to bundle up. My pet peeve of the cold weather is trying to press buttons on the iPod and otherwise use my iPhone's touchscreen while keeping my hands warm in gloves.
A few Winters ago, I got used to just taking off my gloves when I needed to use the clickwheel (or, I'm not proud to admit, using a pair of gloves with a hole in the forefinger) on my iPod.
But this time, I'll be ready! I'm conquering the touchscreen/glove dilemma by getting into fingerless gloves. My faves are these Preference Gloves from Anthropologie that have a mitten attachment, so you're not constantly looking like a posh punk. Unless that's what you're going for.
Emporio Armani
Levi's
Alexander McQueen
Yes! I bought a pair like the ones you mention, with the fold-over mitten part, from Payless. Sadly they were pretty crappily made and the buttons already fell off (I've only worn them twice!). But that's what I get for only paying $3 for them. I'll definitely be looking into better quality ones soon though.
1I love fingerless mittens. They are my favorite. They aren't as bulky as regular gloves (in my opinion) and they keep my hands warm and I don't have to take them off when I need to use my fingers.
2I love those gloves, they are so cute! Unfortunately it is 86 degrees right now where I live. It may never get to be sweater season in Southern California.
3I love the ones I got from American Eagle.
4Glittens!
5Target has a ton of these in really cute colors!
6i love them especially when i'm typing a lot in the winter. keeps me warm, yet i can still tippytype on my laptop. :}
7They're okay. I always feel like a hobo when wearing them though.
8I have really cute black and pink striped fingerless gloves from Hot Topic, but they don't have the fold over thingy to turn them into mittens. They're really cute and were like 12 dollars.
9Mod Cloth has some cute ones, too.
10I totally hate fingerless gloves. Why? It's my FINGERTIPS that get cold, dummy. Why should I warm up my knuckles?
