So maybe this was the only time in their busy schedule that Super Talent Technology could release this 8GB, 18-karat Solid Gold USB Drive, currently retailing for $600.
Or maybe they just figure that the kind of person who would buy a solid gold drive in the first place is unconcerned with this recession.
Sample dialogue: "What is this recession you speak of?! Get me my solid gold flash drive! I need to take some MP3s over to Buffy's!"
Prada
i'm all for geek chic but during this economic turmoil it doesn't seem like a good time to be investing in a 600.00 flash drive
1I don't really understand all the weird flash-drives.
2I don't get people who are so rich they buy this stuff. I get mansions all over the globe, great cars and what have you, but this is useless.
3I agree- a flash drive is a flash drive. Some of the most chic ones are the cheapest. 18K gold? What gives?
4I think that's a bit much.
5hahaha no its a good time =) after all, people have always invested in gold during bad economic times...
jk this is a ridiculous use of $600
6Now they've gone too far. I love a creative looking flash drive, but this is a bit much and too costly.
7lol..i LOVE The conversation there. you know, some people will always want to have things in platinum or gold - so why not great a drive that allows it? the next thing we'll see is a diamond encrusted one- and if there's a person out there that will buy a $5million dollar wondrebra then there's something who will buy this.
