I love my flat screen TV but I must admit, it's a tad on the "masculine" side. This hardwood flat-panel frame from Pottery Barn could be just what I need to transform my TV into a beautiful piece of artwork. Featured on CrunchGear, this TV frame comes in three sizes to fit most 37", 42" and 50" flat-panel TVs as the price ranges from $400 to $600. Unless you like a minimalistic modern look, I think this is a really great accessory to go alongside a TV.. even though it is a bit on the expensive side.. what are your thoughts?

It makes the tv look like art. It could be really cool done the right way.
1It would be perfect if you were showing a slideshow or something!
2Torn- while it looks more "finished" it also reminds me of those big old CRT TV's from my childhood... shudder...
3its a great idea, but I would like something that was more like a box around the edges of the tv so that it covered up the silver part and all you saw was the screen...silver and black don't go with every room's decor
4I don't care for it. It reminds me of those big giant TVs with the wood detail from the 70s and 80s.
5All of the tvs in Seal & Heidi's house are like this, very big and framed. I kept wondering where the tvs were.
6so pretty!
7I don't really like it. Framing a tv seems a little strange to me. Not to mention the tv already cost me $3000, I don't think I would spend another $600 on a frame LOL.
8In my fathers office the have a flat panel tv and they had a frame made to go around it so it wouldn't stick out so much. It's such a great idea!

10i can see how some people would like it.
but i love more modern and minimalist design, and this wooden frame would take away from that for me.
11I saw this product in the PotteryBarn catalog- and did some research. I'm glad I didn't buy the first thing I saw; but instead looked into it a bit and found this company:

HDenvy is a company that has perfected the HD frame and they have a LARGE variety of frames to choose from. I prefer the countryish frame look myself- but they also have modern-esque and funky frames to fit any decor. I HIGHLY recommend it.
