The glamour of an old-timey movie set or photography shoot can now be yours! CB2's Photography Floor Lamp ($100) has succeeded in making something very industrial blend right into modern decor. Though I hope the light from this lamp isn't as white and bright as what they need for shoots, I think I could see this in my living room.
On the other hand, its look may not translate and be too tech-y, to the point where your guests are wondering where the guy with the boom mike is. What do you think of it?

love it! pottery barn had a similar look lamp for a much higher price....I think that this is priced just right so I may take the plunge...thanks for the tip!
