I'm not a fan of the banana-bottom G1 and the alpha version of the OS but I do like the idea of an open source handset and am a big t-mo fan, especially while suffering through AT&T for over a year in order to use my iPhone (original, thank you).
BTW, if anyone wants a chance to win a free Eee PC all you need to do is visit http://www.arod.tv and rate (five stars please, I'm trying to win too!) and enter your name and email. With few people rating, and the contest ending 10/31, you stand a much better chance of winning that you do in most contests. And who couldn't use a free Eee PC 901?
1bummer, too bad I am committed to at&t for another year and a half. I have waited to buy the iphone (old and new versions)just because there is always big time bugs with apple. (sorry but true even though I LOVE my ipod!). If I see that this other phone seems to go well maybe I will just downgrade to the lowest available plan and switch. who knows, I am about ready for a change...
2We'll have to wait and see.
