Steve has just announced the new MacBook Air in addition to the new Pros; the big changes here are in hard-drive size (they've gone up to 120 GB from 80 GB) and graphics — they're now four times as fast.

The size stays the same at a 13.3-inch display; the lower level price is $1,799, and the version with the faster processor and solid state drive is $2,499.

My fear is that the Air is the new Cube. It was very cool to look at, but pricier than other computers that were more user friendly (you have no battery access, internal optical, no FW on the air- on the cube you couldn't add any PC cards, limited video card upgrades due to size limits which also limited your sizes of displays you could run). I sure love this little computer. Just wish it had the power to make it mine.
