Where my students at? For those of you in full swing of your Fall semester, I've got a great web app for you: Soshiku.
Soshiku very simply tracks your class assignments no matter what level of school you're in, and makes sure you always know when stuff is due, so you never miss turning in a paper or cramming late at night for an 8 a.m. quiz. To remind you that you have something coming up, it can text or email you. And it's free! Plus, saying the name is awesome.

1Where was this when I needed it 2 years ago? This would be SO helpful when taking online classes, I was always forgetting dates of assignments because I never knew what day it was. Hopefully this will get a lot of use out of people like me.
2Wow, I was just sitting here kicking myself for not being on top of things as I could be in grad school. I use a PDA to keep track of my courses but I could really use the email reminders! I think I'll give this a try. Plus, you could assign other comittments as "courses" to keep track of them. Thanks Geek!
3BuffBabe, you're so right, I'm doing the online classes thing now and I've missed assignments for the same reasons! Hopefully this in addition to my PDA and my whiteboard schedule will help! I'm a mess and a procrastinator!
4This will be insanely helpful for a student like myself who can't stay organized on her desk! This will be more helpful than a planner i feel too!
5this seems really good, but my google calender is my life. i don't think i could ever give that baby up. and its really helpful since its on my iGoogle homepage
6Um, maybe I'm missing something, but how is this any different from a good ol' calendar app (like Google Calendar)?

9I like the idea that it texts your phone or email you to let you know when you have and assignment. Espically since at work i cant pull up my google calender our the outlook calender on my computer. I am trying to try it out for the rest of the quarter to see how it work. And I am going to suggest to a few friends of mines who are in school this quarter.
10this would have been so helpful my freshman year in college. of course that was before the internets were so robust. amazing what happens in just a decade. dang. has it really been a decade? i'm old.
