Check out this video from DLTV's latest TiVo Cast of the best-managed cord situation in a desk that I have ever seen. Man, if I could do this, I think I would even begin sleeping better. It's that good.

The cords have disappeared! Think you could DIY something like this?

Moschino
Zagliani
Temperley London
Oh, wow. That's fantastic. I have two cats who love to play with the cords hanging off the back of my computer, but I don't think I'm savvy enough to put this together. It gives me hope though that someday we may get to this level out of the box.
1what if you have a wooden desk? pvc pipe would look sort of out of place there, but whats the solution?
2I'm pseudo against cord management
Only because our setup is never stagnant for
long. We are constantly adding or removing things. This is beautiful but I'll keep my spaghetti for now
3I've been trying to get my husband to do something like this FOREVER, but he keeps using Macgirl's excuse.
Keep in mind that we haven't added any new cords in months... Besides, it looks like adding a cable or two is pretty simple, it's just threading it through a tube.
Raieven -- you could a)make some cord channels out of some plywood, wood glue, some nails, and some nice top coat/stain, or b) get white PVC pipe and spray paint it to match your decor (which is what I think the guy in the video did). I am a creative type and like the b) option, plus you could add detail with decals, stencils, or just paint on a design of your own.
4it's so clean and fantastic
