If you are like me and have made the switch over to Google Talk because you appreciate its intuitive interface and simplistic design, then this might be a useful tip for you.
To make other chat programs like Yahoo Messenger, look like the ever-so-lovely Google Talk, all you need to do is download a Google Talk skin, and your complex Yahoo messenger days will be over! Just follow these simple steps:
Installing the skin
Click here to download the skin. Extract the contents of the zip and move it to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Shared\Graphics (default installation folder, change it only if you have installed Yahoo Messenger somewhere else)
Activating the skin
Run Yahoo Messenger > Go to Messenger > Change skin…Choose Google Talk from the drop down menu and click OK

I can't even remember the last time I used yahoo messenger. I have never used google talk.
1I have MSN Messenger. How much better is Google Talk?
2People actually still have yahoo messenger, wow, didn't know it still existed.
3any messaging service is only as good as the number of friends you have on it to talk to... that's why something like Adium X (for Mac) is great, since it has a great interface, and links up to almost all the major services... I haven't found anything comparable on windows, however

5I love my MSN. That's my baby, I'll never stray from it haha
6This is awesome! I would love to have a skin for yahoo that looks like MSN messenger... any idea's on where to get that?? Until then, I'll be using the google talk skin =0)
7I rarely use yahoo anymore now that I have google talk and have convinced most yahoo users to get a gmail account.
