Turkish designer Hussein Cahalayan presented this high tech video dress at the Milan Design Fair. With 15,600 embedded LED lights in the fabric, this dress displays a time lapse of a rose opening and closing. It is currently on display at the 10 Corso Como gallery in Milan, along with the mechanical dresses from the show in Paris. Check out the video below to see it in action. Fashionable or over the top techie?

I hate that thing! What idiot would actually buy it?!
1I wouldn't wear it
2I'm sure its not that healthy for your body either, I'd never wear it, we wear clothes to express personality, I think this one's just over the top.
3FUGLY and I am sure it is not comfortable at all. And wouldn't the LED's get hot after awhile?
4TOTALLY over the top, but funny!
Return the shoes? I can't talk to you when you're hysterical.
5Cute, but not practical AT ALL.
6I would so wear it. Definitely a conversation starter.
7I'd wear it!
8This is awesome. He is clearly making a statement regarding the interaction of technology with modern man. As we progress towords more dependence on electronics, they become more integrated with our sense of self, i.e. fashion, the most outward expression of self. What if you had a dress that expressed how you felt via imagery? If you haven't seen his mechanical dresses from last year you should check it out.
Cheers--

haha just a lil to geeky for me!!
10I generally love anything to do with technology lately. I love it, but this dress is just TOO much for me.
11This designer has to be kidding. He keeps putting crap like this out, but does he do it to be artsy fartsy or because he actually expects someone out there to WEAR it? Ugh.
12I think it is a REALLY great idea! I'd love to see people wearing something like this in the future! Imagine having a dress that you could literally change the pattern of whenever you wanted!
13Way too much...
14I think its a great idea and pushing fashion to the next level. I wish I had one of those! I would totally wear it.
15Way too techy.
16Way too techy for me. But uh, very interesting.
17Totally cute. Settle down ladies, i'm sure this is just the "proof of concept". They have bendable monitors now, i'm sure some fashion designer will get ahold of it and make some really cute stuff.
18No thank you! it's not that cute, but its cool to see how things are evolving in fashion and technology
19Now how cool is that! Seriously, that is sweeeet! Hold on, let me switch dresses... ha
