We know Leo DiCaprio loves his Black Carbon cell phone and Britney would rather be hairless than be without her beloved BlackBerry, but you should know Darth Vader won't think twice about using the force on you if you pick up the phone at the wrong moment.
Earlier this week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences screened Star Wars as part of a series of 3Oth Anniversary celebrations and before the start of the show, guests were treated to this special clip warning them not to pick up their phones during the show.

1haha cute.
2My boyfriend actually works for ILM (the Lucas special effects company) and he worked on SW Episode 3 and I sent him the link thinking that he'd probably seen it at work already but he hadn't!! I'm sure its being fwded around right now, thanks GeekSugar!
3Sith powers are so much cooler than Jedi. You'd never see a Jedi do that, even though that dude totally deserved it.
4They should show that clip before all movies. Not that it would matter!
5This is excellent. I can't stand people talking on the phone at the movies.
6That's pretty funny!

that's funny.
8Use the force! It gets people to turn off their phones!
9hehe amazing!
10Nice! I would just use the force to detect that a call is coming in and then mute the phone in time before it rings.
