We've already established that there's a big difference between what constitutes being a Geek vs. Nerd, but Maxim Magazine's latest Hottest Nerd Crushes poll got me thinking: Who are the hottest geeky/nerdy/sci-fi gals out there and why? Rounding out the Maxim top 5 are Lara Croft, Tomb Raider; Grace Park (Lt. Sharon "Athena" Agathon/Lt. Sharon "Boomer" Valerii), Battlestar Galactica; Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity), The Matrix; Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully), The X Files and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Star Wars: Episode VI. Who do you think is the hottest of these nerdy geeks and why?

Moschino
Zagliani
Temperley London
Princess Leia! Ask any geek guy, and he'll tell you about the love of the gold bikini.
1I don't know why Princess Leia isn't at the top of the list. She's beautiful, nerdy and tough. I second the part about the gold bikini.
2Princess Leia
3I hate commenting twice, but i had to put this out there...
4Leia killed Jabba the Hut, didn't put up with Han's crap, and opened relations with the Ewoks. And still got the hot guy on her own terms!
How is she not the most badass sci-fi chick?
I will forever be an X-phile. Scully!
5I said Carrie-Anne Moss/Trinity, but I know the correct answer is actually Princess Leia.
6Princess Leia, those buns. Need I say more? Plus remember how hot Hans Solo is?!
7Based mostly on wardrobe, Trinity is the hottest in this list. But i'm also a big fan of Morgan Webb http://www.iheartmorganwebb.com/forum/uploads/post-2-1149570343.png
8Scully will always be my favorite.
9to me is Lady Croft i mean she´s an Archaeologist(how cool is that) so we know she´s super smart, and let´s not forget all those gadgets she has.
10Princess Leia tops them all by far! I refer to StefaPie's comment #4 above, 'nough said!!!! She's awesome.
11Princess Leia for life.
12Leia. It's always Leia!
13GRANTED...leia's body looked hot on that gold bikini but her face just reminds me of my friend's mom...so i can't stomach her!
Lara Croft all the way!
14Lara hands down!
15TRINITY! CAM is so awesome. I saw her in Disturbia and she rocked it!
16It's all about Scully! But, where's Ahura and 7 of 9? Jeri Ryan was very geektastic on Voyager.
17XFiles...
18Dana Scully! Loved The X-Files.
19The chick from X files is gorgeous!
"Aint nobody out there swift like this."
20Natalie Portman as Padme Amidala.
Mother of Luke and Leia.
End of story.
21Totally Gillian Anderson as Agent Scully from the X-Files. She brought power suit into the land of cool.
22I voted for Scully, but why isn't Sidney Bristow on that list?
23Trinity.
24S'probably the leather...
I love Scully!
25None of those. On the site they have Leeloo from my favorite movie ever, so she's the best geek!!
26I love Scully! I miss that show so much. . .at least when it was the Mulder/Scully duo
27According to SCI FI Wire, Frank Spotnitz has confirmed something that has been the subject of speculation for the past few years, that being a sequel to the X-Files movie.

28I voted for Scully of course.. because she's Scully. But you should really to this poll about male nerd crushes, for the female nerds. Of course I will vote for Mulder on that one, but you should still do it
297 bits--are you serious??? Don't toy with my emotions!
30Princess Leia and Lara Croft!
31I was neck and neck with Leia and Scully...then I remembered Leia kissed her brother. Twice. Ew?
32Princess Lei!
33Trinity.
34grace park!!!
35Trinity is the best!!!
36Princess Leia! *Tromps along to the Stars Wars theme Song*
37Ahh! Love them all, but I ended up picking Scully.
38OMG Scully!!! She's so nerdy. I love them all too, especially Trinity, but Scully wins it all.
39Lara Croft is my hero
40Me. I am the hottest nerdy/geek girl.
41But I voted for Leia. Uhm, she's a teen and bra-less. I'm pretty sure it doesn't get more explicit than a bra-less teenage rebel princess galavanting across the galaxy and living by her own rules.
With all due respect to the other very lovely ladies in the poll, I most emphatically vote for the talented, gorgeous Grace Park! Mrs Park brings the word "awesome" to new heights.
