Unlike a bulldog, this House Sitting robot from Japan is quiet, cute and non-threatening. Like a bulldog with human powers and a camera, the bot can be programmed to take photos of home intruders and send them to your phone. No it doesn't make a sound, or even alert the police, but according to Gizmodo, it can stream a live feed of your home intruder so you can watch their whereabouts. It's like a clever home security system, without any of the intimidation benefits.

AND it's cute
1and is their anything the Japanese won't think of?!
2It's an interesting idea. How much is it going for?
3Man, Japan has ALL the cool stuff.
And I've gotta tell ya, bulldogs are about as threatening as a fluffy kitten. They look like monsters, but the most dangerous thing they'll do is knock you over so they can lick your face.
4My house sitter meows. And we have an outside dog.
That is a great idea, however, what if the intruder has a mask on, and what are you supposed to do with streaming video of an intruder, yell at it? Take the video to the police AFTER the thief has sold all of my prized possessions to his loser friends?
5I like the concept of this idea and its quite unique but what the heck are you supposed to do with the photos/movie. Do you think the cops would believe you? Might be a nice idea to have with your partner so you can send them photos of yourself around the house and also keep an eye on your pets – what do they get up to during the day?!!
6God so cute. Not much need for it but I'd get it for fun. Lol.
7wow! is great and useful, and yes... is cute too!
