Now that Seinfeld is out and the new "I'm a PC" commercials are in, most of you feel the same way that I do about them — they are totally copying Apple's "Get a Mac" ads! The first installment with Seinfeld was at least somewhat original, but waay too long to be used as commercials. These ones? Catchy, but lack originality. Microsoft, you had my attention with Seinfeld, and lost me at "I'm a PC."
To see the other two Microsoft commercials, just read more.

They can get their point across without sounding like such copycats. Like I said, there was nothing wrong with their previous ads (unless they're losing ground to Apple).
In response to some comments from a previous entry, I'm a Mac user, and I don't consider myself a snob. Why do some PC users sound so incredibly defensive? Why do they feel the need to justify their preference for PCs? I'd only do that if I really wanted the other product. You like what you like, period. The Mac ads slam PCs, true, but in a humorous, tongue-in-cheek way. No need for Microsoft to get their socks in a bunch, especially if their sales are not being affected by those ads. Don't want to start a debate, but the whole stereotype thing apparently works both ways and hate to be called a snob for liking a particular brand.
