As you may be able to tell, I'm a nerd for electric cars, and I like where things are headed. Not only do the latest models come with some hot tech stuffed inside the body, but they are moving farther away from the conventional square, boxy design. One of my new faves? The Chevy Volt. Check out the offerings from the 2011 model, which just so happened to have taken home the gold medal in this year's Edison Awards for innovation.
