1Up Mushroom Scarf: Love It or Leave It?

Remember the $155 knitted Princess Peach Scarf? The seller is back with the equally geeky and radical 1Up Mushroom Scarf.

It's also in the same price range — $150 — but look at that handiwork: The individual mushrooms! The bright, happy green!

But yes, we are adults. Some of us are averse to winding knitted fungi around our necks, and for those of us who are not, well, more power to you.

I like it. It reminds me of my friend Twinkiechan's cupcake scarves. For some reason, I can pull off a cupcake scarf, but I doubt I could wear this.

@mochick "one evening or two"?? man, you're a FAST crocheter!! :) That would take me ages to do! And yes, I know it's handicraft and it's hard work (I'm a knitter-crocheter myself) but this is way too overpriced. Oh and no, I wouldn't wear it. I like geeky knitted stuff but this scarf looks weird to me.

wouldn't wear it, but could make the darn thing for about $10 ;) i suppose the maker is charging for labour, but that's astronomically high, since something like this could be made in an evening or two... knowing how to crochet and knit is very useful; especially when you live in a cooler climate! (or if you need cheap gifts :p )
