Though the second Microsoft ad featuring Jerry Seinfeld is a lot funnier than the first, I can't help but feel that it's still lacking . . . direction? Humor? As a die-hard Seinfeld fan, I'm disappointed that these spots aren't as "Jerry" as his humor on the show was, and even more disappointed because I don't really know what Microsoft is trying to say.

Contrast that with their rival Apple, who've spun the Get a Mac ad campaign off the notion that Mac users are cool and PC users are, well, John Hodgman, and I have to call Apple as the winner again. I get the point, they don't meander, and they entertain me.
Now putting aside your preference for Apple or Microsoft, tell me, which ads do you like more?

Well evidently the Apple ads are better because they have a clear message, whereas everyone across the interwebs is umming and aaahing about the microsoft ads - as they don't really know what they mean.
I get what Microsoft is saying, by putting Gates and Seinfeld in these situations of trying to get back in touch with reality - they're admitting their mistakes (vista) and probably takings steps to ensure it won't happen again.
Jerry quips, "Why Bill? because as we discussed, you and I, we're a little out of it. You're living in some kind of moon house hovering over seattle like the mothership and I've got so many cars I get stuck in my own traffic. We need to connect with real people."
Bill is awesome, I'd vote for Microsoft on him alone.
