This is so poignant..my first typewriter was actually an antique one. I have a soft spot for them to this day.

It definitely makes you wonder what she might have put on her own pages. She certainly had a more interesting mind than she was given credit for at the time.

This just took my breath away when I read her name embossed on the faded paper. I think her death kept all the good in her away from the world's eyes. We see the glamour, but I think deep down, this woman had a lot more to say.

Oh my goodness. I love typewriters. What a special one for showing a side of an iconic woman that the public rarely got to know.

Arthur Miller might have used that typewriter as well. "Death of a Salesman" anyone?

Maybe Joe DiMaggio used it too.

Wow this is very amazing. I saw the picture originally in Vanity Fair, but I don't ever get tired of these rare pictures. Old typewriters are anazing especially one from a legend.

Mrs. Murray the house keeper mentioned that she bought some writer stuff and put it in a room in the house.
