Sometimes things just hit too close to home — which makes them funny because they're true! I recognized all eight offenders on Cracked's list of the most obnoxious commenters on the Internet.
There are the usual suspects, like the Defender (sometimes also known as "fanboys/girls"), The Ninja, who posts one comment and then mysteriously disappears, and the Macho Man, which is a nicer euphemism for the kind of aggressive guys who freak you out in real life, and can still do so in 2D form.
As a passionate commenter, I thankfully did not recognize myself, but check out the rest of the post for a laugh!

about the pic you chose geek for this post. He has a little OOh face like a kid
2I was reading an article about gay dads adopting kids and man did the Hitler's Apprentices come out in droves to comment on that one. It's honestly *almost* worth going to newsvine and reading the comments. But not quite.
3man I hope I don't come across as a mr. science with the mac stuff :-/
4@macgirl I made that mistake with the hard drive backup article from months ago. *gulp* How can ya avoid it though? It's geeksugar! We're all scientists to some degree when it comes to our gadgets, even if it's the science of color matching hehe.
5I started thinking about it- Where was the troll? The person who comments in a way that it starts a fight with the other commenters? Or the Negative Nelly- the person who hates everything and loves telling you about it?
6^^ Yeah...where are those people in the article. I think the "troll" type definitely deserve a spot on the list!
