I'm a fan of the PSP. It's got some amazing graphic capabilities, and since one of my favorite games is on the PSP, it's totally handy to have with me when I travel. But if I'm being honest, the PSP does have its drawbacks; most notably being the screen glare! I love that I can watch movies more comfortably than I could with my iPod, but contorting the console to get the best angle while on the go is kind of a bummer.
So the announcement of the spruced-up PSP, called the PSP 3000 – which will hit European markets in October – has me anticipating an upgrade. The $250 dollar PSP 3000 will have an improved LCD screen with reduced glare, so I can play games and watch videos outside comfortably, and will also boast a built-in mic for all those Skype calls I'll be making.
Since I'm still not sure how many of you own a PSP, tell me, will you buy a PSP 3000 when it hits the States?

Nope, not enough worthy features to care. Less battery life, harder to mod, sounds like less of a reason to purchase this one. I still love my psp-2000.
1From the start I've never been a PSP user, i know a few people who have them and are so-so about them, and I personally am a person who doesn't like bulk and such, so I doubt I'd ever use one, though the size of the screen is nice.
2I voted maybe, just because I've always wanted a handheld gaming system. Maybe a DS is better... then again I have my iPod Touch which is great for movies and such. Oh the dilemma.
3i have a ds and an iphone. i'm pretty much covered.
4no already have a PSP slim, don't need another
5Why do I have to choose between a DS and a PSP? I have both.
I'm not getting a new one though. Between my iPhone, DS, and PSP I really have enough to keep me entertained while traveling.
6No. I have an original PSP. I am not trying to replace something that is still working well.
7Nope. I already have a PSP lite. It's red and has Kratos' face stenciled on the back. Not giving that up!!
