For those of you keeping score: I want a TV in the dining room, bathtub, but not the bedroom. Of course, the expense isn't the only thing standing in the way of my getting an additional TV; I have a tiny apartment and there is just nowhere for another TV. But rest assured, I would if I could — and that brings my television ownership total down to a whopping one set.
But I'm more curious about you guys — how many TVs do you have in your house? Would you have more if you could? Where are they? Geeky inquiring minds want to know!

We have one small one in the kitchen and one relatively small one in each bedroom and one in the living room. Only one of the tvs is a flat panel though. The others are all fairly ghetto aha.
1Two and one is broken, line in the middle of the screen that makes people's heads funny shaped.
I think I've decided to go tv-less when I move out, at least for awhile. As long as I have internet, I'm happy. I don't care for the cable bill.
2six...one in all three bedrooms, one in the kitchen, living room and one in the den
33(in each bedroom), 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the living room. So 5.
4At my dorm room, I have one (well, there's one more in the kitchen, but that's not mine, and I share it with 6 people), but at home we have 5, but only 4 are in use. One in the living room, one in my parents' room, my two brothers each have one, and then there's one in the basement, but no one ever uses that room. Before I moved out, there was one in my room as well.
It may sound like a lot, but with three kids over the age of 16, it's almost a natural progression. We used to have 1 or 2, but yeah, things escalated once us kids grew up.
5Just two. One in our family room and one on a stand/bookcase that we can swing between the dining & living rooms. I'm against TVs in the bedroom even though I get grief from my daughter since all her friends have TVs in their rooms. I figure if my daughter wants to watch something in her bedroom she has a laptop.
6we have one in each of the bedrooms and a 52in downstiars. so 3 in all.
7Who are my other three zeros?
83. One in the master bedroom, one in the family room, and one in my daughter's room. However, the one in my daughter's room doesn't have satellite and she only plays games on it.
9We have four televisions in our household. The big screen in the living room, one in the hubby and I's room, one my daughter's room and another one in my son's room.
10Just the one in the living room. We actually own two others for random reasons, but have no desire to set them up anywhere. We keep trying to get rid of them just to free up space in the garage.
11One in my room, one in my roommate's, one in the kitchen, one in the living room. Phew!
12I also have one outside! Since I can't smoke my cigars inside and don't want to miss any of the ball game!
13Another 0 here, though I do sometimes watch shows on the computer - streaming or itunes.
14I've made it an explicit point to not have a tv in my own home. HOWEVER, I do watch DVDs on a Tiger Electronics kids projector late at night. But that doesn't count... right?
15I just have one tv. I watch movies on my laptop. Does my laptop count as another "tv"?
16My house has 6. One in the living room, one in the kitchen, and four in bedrooms. There are 6 people in my family so I guess it works out. Three of them are really old tv's though that will not function once everything goes digital.
17One ^_^
18A little Sharp - soon to be a 46" Samsung?
Yeah.. We're moving from like 22" or something small to that!
We do sit about 8 feet from that TV and playing games is impossible.
We have two; one in our living room and one in our bedroom. I know that breaks all the rules , but I work late nights almost half the week anyways, so it's not interrupting anything when I'm home!
19Let's hear it for the zeros! We're coming up on five years without TV. Though of course we stay on top of pop culture through this wonderful site and also through magazines.
204... 3 in each bedroom and 1 in the living room.
21Just one in our living room...the only other place I would think about getting one is in our kitchen, which we've talked about -- but my ipod dock will suffice for now in there. And we'll never have one in our bedroom...we established that rule right after we got married.
225. LOL!
23We only have one, and never watch it. We play everything on my 24" mac screen or my partners 22" mac. Sometimes we'll throw on something as background noise whilst going to sleep. Its all junk on UK TV anyway!
244. one in my room, one in my brother's room, one in the living room, and one in my parent's room. but there's going to one more which will be in my other brother's room. but 4 for right now.
25We had 7 or 8 TVs at one time in our (much bigger) house back in the US. Here, even with a house that's around 1/4th or 1/5th that size, we still have 3. One main reason is that my parents watch Chinese television via a satellite in the back "yard".
26We have a flat screen in the family room/living room, one in the office/spare room and a small one in our bedroom. We don't watch tv in bed but I use it in the morning to watch the news while I get ready for work.
27In my house there's 1 in the living room, 1 in my parents room, 1 in my room an 1 in my brother's room, they're all aroun 20" 21", except the one in the living room, that one's bigger.
287... For 3 people...! HA. Wow.
29We have 3 TVs. One is in the living room, one is in my dad's bedroom, and one is in my bedroom.
301 in one bedroom, 1 in the 'family' room, 1 in the living room, and 1 in the kitchen. my boyfriend wants to get rid of as much tv as he can tho. so we'll see how many we'll end up with.
31We have technically three. We have a 27" Bravia flatscreen (in the family room), a whopping 54" flatscreen in the "media room" with surround sound (GREAT for movies!), and a really old one in our basement storage.
32I really dislike the tv in the bedroom thing... I think it's one of the worst ideas ever. I like my bedroom to be quiet and peaceful.
6 everyone has one in the bedroom, plus living room and dining room (my gradmothers fault)
33i have my college tv in the bedroom and a more grown up tv in the living room. eventually i'll buy a flat screen but for now i'm waiting for the price to keep dropping!
344. 3 bedrooms and 1 in the living room
35One old big one. When more then 2 people want to watch something we use the tv. Other wise I just use my computer.
36One in the living room, and I never use it except to play ps2 games or watch Dvds. Boring, I know.
374 (Three bedrooms and the living room.) However at our former (and larger) home we had 6 (we gave two away however I upgraded to a LCD for my room.
)
381 and that's more than plenty for me
39We have one in our family room and one in the bedroom. We used to have a third, but we rarely ever used it, so we gave it to my parents when one of their sets pooped out. It's just my husband and I in our household, so two is more than enough for us!
40We have 5--big one in the family room, one in our bedroom, one in the basement, one in the loft, and a tiny one in the kitchen. 3 of them have DVRs, so I can currently record 5 things at once!
41We have 2 -- one big DLP in the living room, one old tube set in the bedroom. I'd like a flat screen in the bedroom, but I'd rather go to India this winter.
42Our house has 6. But one is very very small that we don't use anymore.
