For business, you know I'm all about classy and fabulous laptop bags, but for weekend pleasure, I need something that is easy to carry, protects the goods inside, and has somewhat of a cute exterior. A part of the Kata Digital Photo Series (DPS) Color Collection, these DR-467 backpacks feature everything you could ever want in a "gadget friendly" backpack — an ergonomic design, superior protection, a rain cover, a compartment that fits a 17-inch laptop and you can also hook it up to an InserTrolly for easy traveling. Other colors besides the pink and lime green shown below include black and beige. Each bag is priced at $80.

Oooh, do want! Probably use it to carry around my old SLR stuff too.

Anyone else thinks it looks like a cartoon face?

Cute, but backpacks feel so... not secure enough for this kind of thing. Putting expensive lenses in that outer most compartment? Some pickpocket is going to have a field day.

I love this! They could market it as the "blogger bag" - tote your SLR and your laptop in one casual backpack and you're all set for whatever the weekend may bring:)

I LOVE Kata bags- they are great for SLRs and laptops. Mine lets me hook my SLR to the shoulder straps, so I can keep it handy without straining my neck. The shoulder straps are padded really well also.
