We all spend so much time searching the net for various things, so why not use a search engine that actually donates money to your favorite charity while you search? With GoodSearch, all you have to do is enter your search terms and pick an NGO of your choice and they'll donate to that charity each time you do a search! Here's the 4-1-1: The site will donate $.01 to your charity for each search, 50 percent of their revenue goes to the NGOs listed on the site, and their primary search engine is Yahoo — which may take a bit of getting use to. But all in all, it's totally legit, and at least you're giving back while doing something you do on the net anyways! A big thanks to TeamSugar user carrothead for submitting this great site to our Website of the Day group!

Why oh why can't this be google powered? I used to use Goodsearch primarily, but I missed my google.
1I can't use Yahoo search. It's no good compared to Google.
2i don't remember the last time i used yahoo search. i used to be diehard yahoo and then google happened. it's so fetch.
3I would use this if the search results were better. I might start using it at home though...but I do research as my job, so I need better results.

This is the charity set in my goodsearch. They are the folks we volunteered with during my destination wedding and most of the wedding guests still have them set as their goodsearch benefactor.
5This is something that I think all search engines should take part in - especially Google.
6I installed this as my default search bar on my browser for a charity I work for.
7However, I will confess sometimes it is not as efficient as Google, but it is a great idea I always at least try it first
ehh... nice
8eh.. thank you.
