The question always arises with luxury gadget accessories: Would you spend as much on the case as you did for the actual gadget? Show me a laptop that costs $2,000, I'll show you a designer doozy laptop bag that matches the price. Likewise, Louis Vuitton has an iPhone case that hits between the unsubsidized 8GB and 16GB prices for the new iPhone 3G: $285.
The Taiga iPhone Case doesn't mention which generation iPhone it's intended for, but I'm guessing that the pouch style would accommodate either. As for the LV logo: One size fits all, thank you very much.

Ugh, no. For one, I'm not a fan of Louis Vuitton other than certain pieces from the Epi collection. I also don't like putting the iPhone in a case. Lastly, paying that much for a little LV logo in the corner is ridiculous.
1a bit pricey. It cost more than my 3G.

19Wow, that looks like the free case I got for my phone. Unimpressed. The only thing I like is that for once, their obnoxious LV monogram isn't plastered all over it. I think it's a bit egomaniacal when companies do that...

21It's as if they don't know that the phone is a TOUCH SCREEN. I have a case that looks about the same with a clip for the belt and everything, except it flips open and closed so that you can use the touch screen and protect it when you're done. It cost me under $10 and I got it at TARGET.
22A company by the name of Incipio makes a case called the Orion that is much nicer than the LV case. It is fine leather and is available in many colors. The function I adore the most is has a small tab one pulls to present your IPhone to you -- it really completes the design.
23It's doesn't even resemble anything LV! Sorry, thumbs down to that design. It doesn't even have any functionality. You just drop your phone in and hope nothing else (liquids, crumbs, whatever) follow? I bet you could find something prettier and cheaper elsewhere.
24I don't think it looks like a luxury case. For a fraction of that I'd recommend what I bought that is so cheap for what it is. Handmade leather - The super slim from ikonicedge.com it looks so good.
