If you had reservations about that $99 Netflix player, Roku, then you have another alternative to watching Netflix movies: your Xbox 360!
At the E3 trade show yesterday, Microsoft announced that Xbox 360 would now be able to stream movies from Netflix right onto your TV. This is just more awesome news from Microsoft, who just this weekend announced price slashings on its Xbox 360. It is so on!

Just a sidenote - you'll also need to have an XBOX Live Gold account to do this.
I already stream Netflix movies to my 360 with a third-party add-on to Windows Media Center. I love it.
1lame. why is this an xbox exclusive?
2You can buy a Roku if you don't have an Xbox. Better deal IMO. My bf doesn't have Gold subscription anymore since he rarely uses it so now we need to decide what to do. I don't use Windows so that's not an option for me. I'm thinking the Roku box will be best.
3We do the same freegracefrom.
4I agree Tidal--I'd love to see this for the Wii too.
5Horray - another chance at RRoD while watching old movies =p
6Beh, you still have to have a Netflix subscription to stream movies, so this really isn't anything new. I like Netflix's "Watch It Now" set up a lot, but I already have it playing on my bigscreen, using my laptop and an S-Video cable. It's not rocket science.
