Coincidence of coincidences? Remember how I was talking that noise yesterday about wanting to spot a Google Street View car and Earthmine being the next best thing? Well that wasn't the next best thing, but this is: A Google Street View car (Prius, to be responsibly exact) was snapped — while being pulled over!

No word on why he was being pulled over, but something tells me that cop had an ounce of curiosity and a few minutes to kill.

that's too funny...
1I love, LOVE Google Street View! Can't wait till they get the entire US mapped. It would be so nice to familiarize myself with intersections and what not I am going to need to recognize when I am out traveling. Or to be able to check out the view of a restaraunt I am thinking of stopping at on a trip before I get there. There have been times I made a stop to eat, only to find out it wasn't in the best neighborhood... and there were bars on the windows... and the clerk was behind bullet proof glass. I would have been able to check that out on street view and knew it wasn't a good place to stop if Street View was complete.
Also I am very glad to see what one of those streetview cars looks like. In my area all the houses on streetview have their garbage out, so I was pondering the idea that maybe they put the cameras on a garbage truck or something? But I guess not.
2I can see where Google Street View is beneficial to some people, but to me.. I would rather not have anyone knowing what my house looks like and all of the escape routes. While I like looking at streets as much as the next person o.0 I'm perfectly fine with getting lost for a few minutes vs working it out all in my head and then getting confused because I came in from a different direction. Eh, maybe it's just me.
3I have no idea how I didn't know about Google Street View! I just looked up my address and saw a picture of my house--an older one, of course, and saw mine and my exboyfriend's cars right outside on the street. Haha!
4You rule for calling the cops "the fuzz." Hilarious.
