Whether it be the fiber optic heart pillows or the REi Huggable Pillow, pillows and geeks go hand-in-hand, and this one is no exception. The Interactive Pillows from Design Goteborg are actually wired with electroluminescent wire that enables the pillows to connect to a communication service (wirelessly) and interact with other wired pillows. When a pillow is touched, hugged or leaned against, it will activate the pattern on the other pillow to glow and will change with various movements. Definitely an interesting way to "keep in touch" with a loved one. In the meantime, I'll stick with my trusty cell phone.

this could be great for kids at night.
1lol, I find this creepy actually.
2thats dumb. youd probably have to be in the same house. thats not long distance. and yeah it is kinda creepy:P why woudl anyone even bother to invent this.
3i think this is a great idea if they can make it work! anything to make a long distance relationship a little easier.
but i agree, its a bit creepy. haha
4umm i kinda like it... my boyfriend's in the Army and can rarely use his phone so this would make me feel closer to him.. but its probably not comfortable.. and doesnt work long distances very well..
5I think it would be neat. I would say it would work via WI-FI and the distance thing wouldn't be too much of a problem. Who knows they might even put it over the cellular bands.
6wow cool! a little more improvement and its perfect for LDR.
7So is this pillow not available yet for sale?
