The Connect-a-desk [1] is not the first time I've seen a desk-free laptop desk — remember the Lindo wrap-around hip desk [2]? That was voted "freakish" by a landslide, and ThinkGeek's version hasn't really made the concept any more palatable.
For 40 bucks, you get the ability to walk around while using your laptop, but for $40, you may suddenly not know yourself anymore.
It's not that it can't be useful — the question is really — is usefulness worth the price of your dignity? But am I being too harsh? What do you think?
