Just when we get swept off our feet and are falling head over heels in love with the iPhone 3G, the underdog comes in for the kill — the Android!
Google's Senior Director of Mobile Platforms, Andy Rubin, has already started showing off the Android's open source operating system to the media, and it looks glorious! One fabulous feature of the Android's OS is its ability to multitask, allowing multiple applications and programs to function at once. . . effortlessly, without your phone freezing up! Phones will need at least a 200MHz ARM 9 processor for the OS to operate, and it will be compatible with a variety of keyboard types and small or large screens.

I will never understand people over 7 years old who have taste for this kind of icon design!
1i guess they're making it universally accessible. or maybe they think we're all idiots.
2The big thing here is that is OPEN SOURCE, which is a biggg deal. my bf is anxiously waiting for it to finally come out.

4OK, this certainly has my attention.
5The open-source aspect is a huge deal. I'm waiting to see what happens with this one.
6Nice thing about open source is you can change the icons if you want
I'm dying for a new phone but it's getting really hard to decide.
7Ooooh. I'm a Mac geek...but I'm liking the looks of the phone...
8I can't wait for Android. I'm considering buying a 3g Iphone, jailbreak it and putting android onto it!!! blasphemy I know
Open source is the only way to go, everything is interchangeable, and with a little learning and tech knowledge, you can make it your own. You can't do that with any phone platform out there, EVEN the Iphone, thats what makes it in a league of its own. Bring it on I say
9very interesting... a google project??
