I'm all about change when it has to do with evolving and improving, but seriously — first Strawberry Shortcake gets totally transformed [1] (I love Strawberry Shortcake Gen 1 much better), and now Sanrio is coming out with new characters called Cherinacherine [2] that bear a striking resemblance to Hello Kitty?!

OK, so I've kinda been slacking in the Hello Kitty [3] department lately, but that doesn't mean Hello Kitty needs some younger and plushier competition! I guess Sanrio will be releasing Cherinacherine bags, toys, cell phone straps and all the other goodies that we'll use to come in HK. . . this is just the beginning folks! I'm scared to see what's next!
