I use the notepad function on my iPhone waaay too much, like so much that I have pages and pages of random notes (dresses I see out that I want to find cheaper online, reminder to buy my Dad something on Amazon when I get home) and it ends up being not all that efficient. Especially because I generally forget to check the pages and pages of notes until I'm making another note for something else.
So I'm outsourcing the notes and thoughts in my head to Jott.
Sign up for a free account with Jott and let them do the organizing and yes, jotting down for you. You can call them and leave a voicemail, text, or email, with your lists and emails or anything else you want to remember later. When you sign on (yes, you do have to remember to sign in), all your notes, whatever way you got them to Jott, will be organized for you. My appointments thank you!

I have Jott too! I haven't organized it well enough yet for it to be useful to me, but there's so much you can do... I'm definitely going to stick with it!
1Okay, after checking this out I am def going to have to try it out. Thanks!
2I love Jott. It's like having my own little secretary.
3This is a very handy tool.
I use some that sounds similar called reqall. You can call, text, email, I'M, etc. It organizes based on words you use like "buy" or dates. It use to take all that stuff and just email it to you but now you have to login in like Jott. Honestly, I kinda liked it better the old way because I could keep everything organized with iGoogle.
4I guessed it's only available for US citizens.
5You don't have to log in. You can also just have it sent straight to your email. If you're on a Mac, the mail program makes it pretty easy to grab stuff out of your email to add to contacts, calendar, etc.
It also seems like you didn't explain the coolest part--that you call Jott, record your message on the phone, and it transcribes it for you. You can also send messages to other people that way. My boyfriend used to all the time when he was at work.
6I'm testing it right now. Has anyone used for a shopping list? How does it work?
7i'm a fan of these kind of sites but after a while it just gets to be way too much.
8anaklya, I've only given it a few things to remind me to buy. The first one was pretty funny. I said "Buy bagels" and got an email that said "Hi bagel".
9I will check it out. TIA!
10I have been using for one week now and I absolutely love it. It really makes my life easier. But the other day I sent myself a message to Call Volkswagen and I got a text saying "call folks." I was on the train and people around me where wondering why I was calling myself. hahaha
I think this is a great tool. Let me know if there are any other cool things it does. I haven't figured out how to use the feeds.
Thank you for this Geeksugar.
