Kelly Ripa Can't Function Without Her Cell Phone

On Live With Regis and Kelly yesterday, Kelly admitted to feeling helpless when she lost her cell phone — which I'm assuming is an iPhone, considering she's already confessed her love for it. "My cell phone has all sorts of everything," she says, realizing in the midst of her panic that she couldn't call her friends to see if they had her phone because their numbers were stored in it! Thankfully there was a happy ending to this story, as Lola Consuelos came to the rescue and used her tiny arms to grab Kelly's phone that was wedged between the car seat and the gear shifts. Phew!

Awww, I know the feeling! I forgot to bring my cell phone with me one day last week and I felt so naked without it!

if i had im at work, i'd never use my phone during the day. it's necessary to keep in touch with my peeps if something comes up. but i rarely actually talk on the phone. haha.

I can't help but love Ripa. She's always talking about technology in this half geeky (I can't live without it!) and half lost Luddite kind of way. I find it endearing.

I wonder if she thought of calling her cellphone to see if it was around her before freaking out.
