Everyone gets burning questions every once in a while, and it's usually when you're out among your friends and you have a bet to settle. If you don't have a smartphone to whip out and jump onto Wikipedia then Cha Cha is your new, I-told-you-so best friend.
Just text your question to 242-242 (yup, that's "Cha Cha") wait a couple minutes, and then you should receive a text back with the answer. I asked when Apple was founded (for some strange reason, I seem to be reading a lot about this little tech company lately), and I got a text within a few minutes that told me Steve, Steve, and Ron founded their fruit start-up on April 1, 1976.

Wonderbra
Does it cost anything?
1Does it only work in limited areas? If there's no charge, how do they make money off of this thing? (Probably by selling the phone numbers they collect?)
2It's 100 percent free and (according to WSJ) they never spam you or sell your info.
3I've been using Cha Cha for about 6 months. I've asked it for the phone numbers of restaurants, current time in foreign countries, and a few answers to trivia questions.
It's always free and I've NEVER gotten a spam from them. They send you a welcome message after your first use, but that's it.
The service really is brilliant.
4I'm not sure how they make money though. Maybe I'll ask them?
I have been using Cha Cha all this year as well, and not once have I ever been spammed! The other day I forgot my GPS, and my brother was visiting. I just asked them for directions, and they got me there just as my GPS would.
5It comes in handy in so many ways! If you ever get into those arguments where you know you are SO right, but your friend tends to think otherwise, you can ask Cha Cha. For example, my husband was convinced the June issue of Flaunt magazine was out. I told him no. So we kept going back and forth, and finally, Cha Cha proved me right! I love that service! You can ask ANYTHING!!
cool beans!
6Neat. I'll have to keep this in mind next time I have a burning question. (And I always do.)
7Oh thank goodness for this! One of the reasons I convince myself to get an iPhone is so I can answer trivia 24/7 with my friends, but this would definitely come in handy! I am so excited!!
