I don't know why I've been on such an art and crafts binge lately, but c'mon, how can I not be when I see such adorable geek gear like the hand-painted Bluetooth earpieces and the Super Mario Galaxy keychain and bracelet! Here's another one to add to the geekilicious handmade collection list — Gameboy Plushies! Although these fuzzy creations are hand stitched with felt, I'm not really getting the $45 price tag. But they do measure just under a foot, which may make for one cozy little pillow.

2kcwebgirl- glad to meet a new DIY-er. I'm um...I'm still not sure what ...what this IS exactly...I mean...they're cute...but $45 makes me think they um...DO something...or not...yeah, i guess not.
3I'm actually POSITIVE I could make this myself.
4So Lovely! Maybe there´s a DIY tutorial somewhere...I really WANNA one of these. Cute!
5really cute =)
6they are cute, indeed - but what does one do with one?
7They're cool! But ya, $45 is pretty steep for a felt pillow...
8ahh they're so cute! i don't agree with the price though.
9Wow - I stumbled upon this site quite by accident (searching for images of gameboys). I've made a hand full of these now, mainly for etsy.com, local stores and 8bc.com (an international 8-bit community). I know that the price is a bit steep - its something I wrestled with for a while. Unfortunately, though, each one of these takes over 3 hours to make as I ensure that everything is completely and safely hand-stitched in layers, and organic - no glue, etc. (to ensure they are child friendly). Also, the $AU is lower than most other places, so they should work out cheaper in the US and UK.
Anyways, if anyone does make anything like these please let me know - I'd love to see them, and see the 8bit love being spread a bit further!
Cheers,
10Lauren
