Any news on if the iPhone 3G will have this?

Not so much. I have an iPhone and to be honest, I wish it had a better camera with settings.

I do. I'm hoping the next iPhone will integrate with Qik. I don't want to have to buy a Nokia.

while it isn't a deal breaker that I don't have it on my iPhone, I would love them to add that.

Honestly it's not that great. I have it and it's kind of shaky, but that may be user error

Mine has 3 mega pixels so it is sooo very good for that, just got it for mother's day, def not an iphone user and never will be, but the flipshot is an awesome phone!

Most mid and high tier phones these days have video. It can sometimes be hard to locate. If you're not sure if you have it, try holding down the camera key for 2-3 seconds. That will often launch it.

i already have a vid cam on my cell but just so you know, don't record while on vibrate, the video takes but the sound doesnt

i've been a loyal sony-ericsson user, and they've had video capture for like... forever. i get the feeling it's been the same with nokia, who happens to be the only other mobile manufacturer who's vying for my affections right now.

I think I have video capture on my phone... I just don't ever use it. Nor do I use the camera. The quality is awful, but I'm sure once they can cram a good lens and processor into a small enough phone I'll buy it.

My phone already has video capture and a camera. I don't use either. I prefer an actual camera/camcorder. I'm not a big fan of all in ones.

my last phone had video capture (samsung D600)
I now have sidekick slide, and I don't actually miss the function! The only times I would make videos is with friends or at gigs, and my friends always use their digital cameras, so I don't have to worry.

Ok to give you info on jailbroken iPhone and video
Since jailbreak is the only way I can use iPhone here, I tried this programs that say they will provide VIdeo and zoom for iPhone camera. Well it just doesn't work correctly It takes still photos very fast and it gives you the impression of animated movement, but not real video recording!
I guess we will have to wait few more days, because we really need zoom, and some other software options for the iPhone camera

hmm im kind of confused. Isn't LC's phone streaming video live??? I dont have that feature but I do have the camera/camcorder on my centro phone. i used to use these features but they always took up all the memory on my phone which in turn would make my phone crap out and shut off.

I already have it. I have the voyager.

My phone has 5mp and the video capture quality ranges from TV high quality (mp4) down to MMS sharing quality. I don't know what I'd do without this feature. It really makes my phone an all in one gadget.

My phone already has this (Motorola Q9m). For me, my phone camera and video camera are for capturing spur of the moment stuff when I don't have a camera on me. I don't use these features often, but I've gotten some really interesting videos and pics that I would not have gotten otherwise.

my old crappy phone had it... but my new blackberry curve doesn't... it makes me sad.. but i'll get over it.
