I always felt like Motorola KRZR was too slick for Dan. Too superficial, maybe? I'd expect him to go for something more cheap and practical. Not sure what, though. So, other.
With the choices given, I'd pick the KRZR simply because Dan's not a 'rich kid', and therefore won't have the latest or greatest phone, let alone a PDA. Dan's more like a..... heck, I don't
even know. Something a year or two old that hardly anyone carries anymore.

1Oh, and I want to add it'd be just like Dan to avoid a phone because it's a phone favored by rich people.
