I found myself gawking at Kate Hudson's cute hair on the set of Bride Wars and almost missed that she's wearing her BlackBerry tucked into her shorts.
We've established that most of you like David Beckham's belt clip style, but don't love it on female celebrities like Courteney Cox. The thing is, people usually clip out of necessity or habit — it appears Kate is filming a workout scene so it would be silly for her to tote a purse just for her cell. Do you wear your cell on your waistband or belt?

Sometimes I have to if I need both hands to take care of something and I don't have my purse with me. I have a cute case for it though.
1Haven't tried it, though Kate makes it look cute.
2My cell phones have always been small enough that they easily and comfortably fit in jeans pockets, but lately my phone has been living in my new giant bag that has a dozen pockets.
3I take my phone with me everywhere, it's my main number and I feel like I need to keep it with me. A clip/case to carry it and my keys works when I'm out for a walk, or just running to the store and not wearing jeans.

7agree, too manly. when I go jogging I usually take a bottle of water in a bottle water tote so I just toss it in there too. my dad wears his on his belt and I've noticed its only a guy thing.
8I usually keep it in a bag or jacket pocket, but I do have a belt clip for it.
I was getting depressed about cell holders because they were so expensive -- around $20-30. (Cheaper now, though.) Then I found one at a hardware store for $5... and it came with a flashlight, and a carabiner! Lol, I am cheap.
And then I used it for my MP3 player and left my phone at home.
9I have before but my phone is usually in my pocket or my purse.
10I'm too scared to use a belt clip with my iphone. The few times I've tried with previous phones, they've fallen off my waist. I'm 5'9", so that's a pretty long drop. Not worth the risk for a $500 phone. I keep mine in a padded case and try to keep the case in my purse as much as possible.

12God no. Phone clips are for fat sales guys who wear their headsets ALL the time so they can live out their Madonna fantasies.
13my iphone fits so well in my right back pocket. and personally i think belt clips are just unattractive.

15Actually, I do. I have a really cute black/white striped Paul Frank case that clips on. Of course, if I had a purse I'd probably put it in that- but the whole guys-with-purses trend is something that I think will never catch on. =P
16Years ago, I had to do it for work. I had this old, GIANT cell phone with Nextel Direct Connect that I was supposed to wear so that people on the other side of our (giant) building could contact me at a moment's notice and vice versa. I only wore it on my belt during work hours, and I still felt like the biggest douche.

18I'm not gonna lie, i tried it but didn't like how I looked so i usually have my phone in my hand or bag, that's what works for me

20when I first got a startac I wore it on my side but that didnt last very long, I usually carry it or drop it in my purse
21i keep my craptastic razr in my purse. and i don't wear belts so that wouldn't really work for me.
22A cell phone is a phone, not an accessory. It belongs in your purse, not on your waistband.
23I'm a dork. I wear my blackberry every day in a plain black clip case on my waistband or pockets. I'd lose it, forget it, or not hear it otherwise.
24I've never had too and have never owned a belt clip for my phone.
However, I've been informed that my company is getting me a blackberry (cringe, I don't want one), which I might wear during the day (because of the emails)... at the very least I might us the clip and put it on the side of my purse.
25Nope, never tried it. Never had a reason too really. If I don't want it in my pocket then I just put it in my bag (which I usually have with me).
26I tend to clip it on my jeans pocket when I am walking or I lay it on the dashboard when driving. I have become completely addicted to my bluetooth wireless. I LOVE being hands free to continue working, on the job or at home.
27I know, before I wanted a clip, but they were so expensive, and plus I prefer hooking my phone on my purse strap - I bought a clip called "smartclip" they are really inexpensive - I love them!
