Get a Polaroid Instant Camera and Film Before It's Too Late!

Depressed about the upcoming demise of Polaroid's instant cameras?

Then now would be the time to get up, buy a soon-to-be-vintage-geek camera and a crap-load of film, and quit whining about it! I'm planning on grabbing an old Polaroid, stockpiling some film, and snapping away before it's too late.

Though Amazon has newer models of Polaroids like this One600, I much prefer this old-school looker, pictured here (plus it's about a $200 difference).

Summer is the perfect time to lug this Polaroid everywhere and take some cute pics, and get in your nostalgia time before it's too late. If anything, it'll be a great relic to show your kids in the future, so don't wait — unless you love being gouged on eBay!

And if you already have a Polaroid and film and are wondering when your film will be discontinued, get the chart when you read more.

I've always wanted a polaroid! Maybe now's the time to get it, but question, do polaroid pictures always fade with time?

Polaroids are like little paintings compared to digital pics. Too bad the film is getting so expensive.

To Annabella: No, Polaroids don't fade. I have tons of old Polaroids (15 yrs?), and they still look great! The only problem with Polaroids is everyone fighting over who gets to keep it Smiling

Don't forget Fuji has their own line of "polaroids" as a photographer fuji "polaroid' film is cheaper than the polaroid brand for test shots! but this is still very sad the day is almost approaching.
