Oh, I know there's an unholy amount of music websites and services online (I think I've written about a few . . .), so I'm a little bit more conservative now about both highlighting and getting sucked into a new service. Thankfully, Sonic Living took the notion of there being so much music-related web stuff and ran with it: It's a website that syncs your bands and likes from iTunes and Last FM and lets you know when a concert is coming up or alerts you of any breaking news and pictures from Flickr photostreams of your "wishlist" bands.
Like almost any new website, there's a social network aspect involved, but it's pretty useful in this case, as you can share upcoming concerts with the friends you'd like to attend it with. Sonic Living is like a one-stop shop for all your favorite music services — you can even add concerts to your calendar and buy tickets with one click from Sonic Living!

Cool site.
1This site has saved my life. Well, at least my nightlife. I actually worked at an animation studio with the founder of this company. When I sent an email looking for Yeah Yeah Yeahs tickets because I had missed the boat, he wrote me back "why weren't you using Sonic Living?" Yeah, duh. I never looked back. Now if could get it to magically tell me bands I want to see that aren't in my iTunes collection...
2wicked...gotta check it out
3too bad my itunes library is on another computer (a slow one that can only play music
)
4kmigdal--I think you can add other bands manually; when I signed in recently, a pop-up asked me if I wanted to add other bands.
5this is actually pretty cool. but i'm just too burnt out on the social networking stuff. and yet i'm building a drupal-based website...
6I'd love to see a good comparison between the sites that do this stuff! I know there's sonicliving, last.fm, bandsintown, songkick, etc. I've been looking for a real easy one to use. From what I've tried bandsintown is definitely the best. Anyone know the pros/cons of some of these?
