I've never considered printers to be a "fun" gadget, but that's certainly the name of the game with Canon's compact SELPHY CP770.
The Selphy, which resembles a rubber bucket, is definitely a family friendly printer. Just insert your memory card, check out your pics on the 2.5-inch display and start printing — no computer required! You can also print via Bluetooth with other devices. With a typical 4 x 6-inch photo only taking three minutes to print, this may be a useful on-the-go printer after all. And as for quality? They say it is lab-quality, but we'll have to see about that. It's priced at $150. What do you think? Do you love? Or feel like leaving it?

Its not that compact AND it kinda looks like a bucket.
1i dunno...150 seems like a lot to me for that little thing. it is so cute, though!
2CUTE!
3its ok but i dont need it.
4it's small enough and durable enough to carry on the summer camping or road trip so you can print your pics at the end of the day and free up your memory card or just to actually have printed pics of your travels sooner. i like it. i usually just stop at wallgreens or kinkos though, but i would consider this.
5I'd look into it, but it depends on the quality.
6It's cute and all, but I wouldn't buy it. There is no way I can afford a printer that will give me the same quality prints as a good camera shop, and at 25 cents a print it's just easier for me to touch up the photos and hand them off to a professional printer.
7Looks like it's geared more towards children and young adults - the bucket look isn't very appealing to me!
8this is something my roommie's mom would like. she lives in 3 places throughout the year and always takes a portable printer like this with her. she is (annoyingly) constantly printing out and sending photos to people.
9very cute, but it wouldn't make the top of my must haves list
10I have just one thing to say... "They stole mah bukkit!" XD
But seriously, this is pretty cute.
11i looks like a shredder! its cool though, esp bluetooth capability! more things should be bluetooth ready!
