On my recent trip to London, I overheard some people debating about which airline they considered to be the best. And most of them agreed that Singapore Airlines is where it's at. Unfortunately, I've never flown with them, so I couldn't agree or disagree. But after hearing this piece of news, I'm looking forward to the day I'll have a good excuse to fly to Asia.
Singapore Airlines is now offering, not only iPod/iPhone docks to business class airbus flights between New York, Los Angeles and Singapore, but widescreen LCD televisions as well. Geesh, if only economy got half of the geeky perks that business class got, the world would be a much better place!

too bad i have no reason to fly with them. maybe i can invent a business trip! haha. it would be nice if the rest of us got to travel with such considerations.

3We are flying to SE Asia this winter to visit my husband's family. We usually fly Singapore Airlines anyway...so...maybe we can spring for the upgrade from our usual cattle-class, especially since we will have our 4 year old on the flight. Looks like there is plenty here to amuse him - which would totally be worth the money on a 15 hour flight!!!!

5Hey I'm from Singapore and I must say Singapore AIrlines is an excellent airline. I'm not getting paid, it's my genuine opinion! Lol. Well, you don't have to come to Singapore to fly by Singapore Airlines.
6I'm traveling to Asia almost every year for vacations (hey, it's the nicest continent to visit, in my humble opinion) and must admit SA is the best airline out there.
Although the 1st class looks really good, the economy class isn't too bad either. You'll get a little screen in the chair in front of you (the same other airlines offer in 1st class) with -if I remember correctly- around 30 movies that can be played on demand, many audio CDs and even a Super Mario game. Very very nice. Definitely beats the competition!
