I love tasteful, geeky jewelry, and these sterling silver and gold vermeil Robot Charm Necklaces from Pretty Little Things are my next indulgence. Part of a series called "Space and Beyond" that also includes an astronaut and a space ship, the robot is nonetheless my favorite, because I feel like I could wear it with my chicest, trendiest garb and not look like a total nerd. Plus, at $74, it's about what I'd pay for a nice, new charm necklace anyway. Do you agree, or is the robot still dork territory for you?

i'm not against the robot, per se, but i think these little guys are a bit ugly for me. give me a cool robot charm and then i'm with ya
Looks very cheap for that price!
I think the ones I bookmarked are way cuter (and ridiculously cheap at $5): http://teamsugar.com/user/marcella/geekgear/481109
It's a bit expensive. Can't you just pull something similar out of a candy vendor.
They're cute, but they look pretty cheap.
Cute! But, yeah, I agree with everyone--looks cheap.
It's a great idea, but I just don't like these particular renderings.
ewwwwwwww
Love robots, but not these.
Cute idea, but not these. I'm with everyone else - they look cheap.
i thought it was the tin man. i was about to get seriously geeked. but as a standard issue robot i'm not sure i'd be running to sign up.
I like 'em! I'd go for gold probably.
Aw they should have made them cuter...
Robots, yes. But not these robots. Pardon me for being crude, but they're fatasses.
i'm not really into the whole robot thing, but i'm sure someone out there likes it. he reminds me of the lego man.
