If I wanted to, I could probably do a TV tech quiz for How I Met Your Mother — you wouldn't think, but this ensemble of friends in NYC is pretty wired — especially my favorite character, Barney. I've Ioved NPH since Doogie Howser, MD, and as Barney I love him more — he's got an iPhone, a MacBook Pro — and talks in tech (and text) speak 24/7! A little bit creep but a lot of geek, Barney killed me in this clip from last week's episode after a scandalous romp with Ted's ex-girlfriend Robin.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE NPH!!! Even though he's not quite like Barney in 'real' life (or as real as talk shows are), he's still pretty awesome. I wish he were my best friend!

2I've been a Robin/Barney shipper for months now.
I absolutely love that the show and writers didn't even need to explain that "BPEG" is the Barney proprietary image format; they just trusted that we, the viewers, would get it.
Between HIMYM and Big Bang Theory (surprisingly good), my sitcom dance card is complete.

I've been chaining HIMYM through my final essay period (including my dissertation...) and I'm up to Season 3 episode 5.
I'm watching Big Bang Theory too and these are basically the best shows out there right now. Well, apart from House M.D., Reaper and Scrubs.
