A few weeks ago, I asked you if any of you were bloggers, and like I thought, a whole lot of you are and you responded enthusiastically about your blogs. Now I'm interested in the more nitty-gritty aspects — no, not what you're blogging about, but where!
Specifically, on which platform? Are you Google-lovers and stuck on Blogger (or former Blogspot users)? Did you fall for WordPress or TypePad, or MoveableType? Or are you on Tumblr or something else? If so, what do you like or not like about your chosen writing platform?

livejournal
1jconcep same here, been on there for 4 yrs.
2I use livejournal, and vox.
3Blogger, it's very simple and easy to use.
4I've tried just about every free blog platform there is, starting with Blogger, then Xanga, etc. However, I just don't have time to attempt to blog dedicatedly anymore.
The only blog I really updated for a long time was on Livejournal.
Loved that site, but the one I'm currently working on (yeah, I never give up) is WordPress.
And now I'm trying Tumblr, since it's listed here, lol. Thanks a lot!
5I was lucky enough to be pointed toward WordPress and still love it.
2.5 Upgrade is awesome. Literally thousands of free themes and widgets.
Lots of flexibility if you want to tweak themes to personalize them.
I now have four WordPress based blogs.

Thanks for asking... and the opportunity for a plug.
6tumblr!
7b2evolution been using it for like 7 years I guess.I have some WP blogs too but I prefer b2evo. I've also tried graymatter, blogger and livejournal. No one seems to know about b2evo but it is such a feature rich platform and it has the best support forums hands down.
8i have typepad but im thinking of switching to wordpress so I can save some money
9Wordpress.
You can check it out @ www.labjuice.com
10Why isn't livejournal an option?
11WordPress (hosted) and loving it.
12See it at TechBurgh.com
Livejournal (:
13Wordpad!
14wordpress and crosspost to LJ. I used to have b2, but eventually I had to switch
15LJ
16LJ for me !
17Livejournal!
18I use Blogger, but I also started a Tumblr blog after I read one of your previous posts that mentioned it.
19Wordpress on my own server.
20I use Blogger but I kind of wish I'd used Wordpress instead. I'm thinking about migrating it over but I'm too lazy.
Are we allowed to pimp our blogs here? If so, check out Fashion Under $100!
21I was told WordPress was the way to go, but I couldn't alter the existing templates as much as I wanted to so I chose Blogger. No regrets.
22vox.com
and a verison of wordpress on sanriotown.com (for hello kitty online purposes)
i used to use livejournal
23and xanga
I use WordPress and Blogger but I find WordPress better..
24I use livejournal because the provacy settings lets me control who sees which blog entries.
25I started on diaryland when I was about thirteen, and moved to vox a little while ago. Diaryland just seemed to be a place that reminded me of my immaturity as a kid, and I really just wanted to get away from that blog completely and start fresh.
Made the switch to vox, and then decided that wordpress was more for me. I've settled in now at wordpress, and I think I'll stay!
26WordPress for me.
27live journal. i have a blogger that i havent used in years and i just deleted my xanga
28blogger was a great place to start out, but i think wordpress is more organized and i am loving it.
btw i was wondering if is there is a way to integrate our sugar profiles with our non-sugar blogs? like notifications on new posts and such?
29i've used most of them off and on, but livejournal has been my top choice for a long time now. (i was a big fan of graymatter though, even if setting it up / customizing it was a pain in my ass. i just don't use my own domain that much anymore, and it was attracting too much spam.)
30blog.com check it out http://silverballetslippers.blog.com
31livejournal.
had my frist LJ years ago in high school, but deleted it when i realized how dramatic my writing style was.
Tried Blogger a few months ago, but the templates weren't all that fun, so I went back to a VERY changed LJ. But i'm still happy with it, and I know all the functions.
Will def look into the new ones mentioned.
32LJ
without a doubt. I love it =]
33i began with my own host and blogged by simply updating my site via FrontPage Express in 1997. since then, i've gone with blogger when it was first introduced, LJ, blog.com, blogsome, and so many others i cannot remember them all. then i did moveable type with my own host for a few years, and then back to blogger. i found wordpress and i love it. i write code and also design web pages, so manipulating the WP templates is very easy and fun.
34I used WordPress for awhile, but have since switched to LiveJournal. The privacy filters are what sealed the deal for me.
35LJ and Wordpress for the moment. But I've used them all (including vox and others), minus the tumblr.
36vox FTW! check it! http://velvetavalon.vox.com
37Livejournal! I can't live without the privacy settings either.
38Vox.com for me. It easily and quickly became my favorite blogging platform (although I have tried others like LJ, Blogger and Wordpress). The Vox service is so rich in features and the social networking features and community are great.
39I've used Blogger for a while now (though I've had a livejournal) -

I'm coming around to Tumblr, and have set up a separate blog, and love how easy it is to use and how clean and lovely it looks. It's got some great widgets for posting as well. I'm considering moving it al to tumblr.
40I went from Xanga to Blogger to Tumblr. I'm happy there and will probably keep it for quite a while! Before that I used my own website and just manually updated; I'm glad those days are over.
41I use Typepad. I used to have a blogspot blog, but i think Typepad is better (it should be, considering it's not free
).
42If any of you read French... Check it out! www.meriem.fr (i also bought a .fr so it could feel more "personal)...
Livejournal ftw!
43I'm another LiveJournal user. I joined because all my friends were there and have stayed because it's just so easy to use. The filters are a great feature, not just for my own privacy, but also to manage my friends list.
44I alternate between xanga and livejournal...not sure which on I prefer though.
45I use Wordpress, but I also use the LivePress plug-in to replicate my entries on LiveJournal (which is where most of my friends are).
46i LOVE my tumblr! I've tried blogger and wordpress and both were okay, but I never kept up with them. I might resurrect one of them to use as a professional/grad school blog, but it's still in major transition as of now.
47I do still have my LJ from my college days which I update to keep in touch with all my friends on there, but I just don't like it anymore. although, I am working on a way to import my tumblr to my LJ to make it all a bit easier.
Blogger, since it's hooked-up with my Gmail.
48Wordpress? Blogger? Seriously?
Try something that is actually amazing as a CMS as opposed to these entry-level tools.
ExpressionEngine is where it's at.
49I use wordpress, though I considered vox and blogger...i used to have a livejournal, but I've since abandoned it.
50I like the stats page you get with wordpress...something about finding out how popular you are...
