about time! i get so angry with people talking to other people, people talking on phones ringing phones and text messaging. there is a serious lack of manners disturbing other people's experience. if you are expecting an urgent call.... YOU SHOULDNT BE AT THE MOVIES!!! sigh. OK rant over.
also some theatres ( famous players, cineplex odeon) offer a free service to babysit your phone and get you from the theatre if an urgent call comes in.
1before i get scolded for not considering people with " on call" jobs i dated a fire fighter for two years and we made plans around his need to be accessible. So sometimes that meant seeing the movie on an off night.
2This is a good thing, it's really annoying when people are constanting talking on phones in the theatre.
3I'm sure it wouldn't have come to this if people would just turn their ringers off and leave the theatre to take a call.
