Once in a while, I'll find some of my favorite TV shows (like American Idol) in HD and make sure to tape them on my DVR. . . . but when this does happen, it's a rare treat. Needless to say, I was overjoyed to hear that one of my all-time faves, the Oprah Winfrey show will be broadcasted in HD this Fall. "We’re pleased to offer viewers their favorite daytime talk show — the Oprah show — in stunning HD beginning this Fall," Harpo president Tim Bennett said. With Oprah already going high tech with the online Webcast on demand for A New Earth, this recent announcement doesn't surprise me at all!

2Love you Geek, Oprah is the woman. Even people who claim to hate her watch the show! Ever notice how so many of them say I don't like her....but I did see that episode. hehe
