My trigger finger for Fandango is all itchy — with so many geeky movies coming out in the next few months, I plan on being at every one of them on opening night. From Iron Man, a movie based on a comic that will be made into a video game, to the high tech-filled feature Speed Racer (which is just begging to have a video game based on it), to an admittedly not-so-geeky, but I-can-make-it-geeky movie, Sex and the City, my movie card's totally full.
It's not enough for me, though! It seems like we have to wait so long for the next X-Files movie, not to mention how bummed I am that Fanboys may not even get a theatrical release. Anyway, with all these geeky films on the horizon, I have to know: What comic book or video game are you dying to see be made into a movie?

I've heard rumours for a while about a movie adaption of Y the Last Man, and I wish that would hurry up!
1I would love to see some Queenie Chan's The Dreaming made into a movie.
2Wonder Woman, maybe a live action Ghost in the Shell Stand alone complex.
3lots of cool books that could be made into movies- WhiteOut, Strangers in Paradise, Bone, Neil Gaiman's Death, Top Ten, and Terry Moore's Echo looks like it's going to be a cool one too. There was also a cool book, but I can't remember the title- it had a female military woman by the name of Martha Washington - great action.

As for video games, after seeing IGN's April Fool's Zelda trailer I don't think it's a bad idea if they went all Lord of the Rings on it and did an awesome job.

hmm...i think some more fantasy movies would be cool. i miss movies with dragons in them. i have been playing Fire Emblem for Gamecube and Wii lately and love the storyline - i think they could easily make a trilogy out of that huge (17 games or something total?! not all related, though) set of games!!
