Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble: Am I Too Old For This?

Because I don't want to be! I wish it had a title that was a little more sophisticated than Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble because I'm in love with it — this Mac/PC game is bursting with style and fun, and fulfills all my 1920s fantasies.

Sure, the game is exceedingly simple and not necessarily challenging, but it's awesome. Set in a 1920s high school, the characters are Clara Bow and Marlene Dietrich look alikes in flapper dresses and other '20s couture, and the whole game is set to a fabulous ragtime soundtrack.

The big action is slinging taunts at other girls to get them to join your gang. Sound a little Mean Girls? Well, yeah, but the insults are old-fashioned and silly. Pshaw!

This sounds like a lot of fun - I'm going to have to download the demo, thank you for the heads up.

Also - you're never too old for things that are fun!

Cute! I'll try it! I like a lot of "children's" games--that's why I have a Wii and my boyfriend has an Xbox 360. Nintendo has always had more 'fun' games than kill kill kill games.

I looked at this when they mentioned it in Wired, but I was hoping for something more like Bully except at an all girls school. I declined the download because it looked too much like an animated card game. If I'm wrong, please let me know!

Coral--it's more complicated than a card game, but not by much. But trust me, the avatars, dialogue, and the music make it worth it!
