Remember the rhinestone studded heart eardrops that seemed to take the world by storm? Well Elecom has just released their next set of bejeweled MP3 accessories, dubbed the Ear Drop Aqua series earphones. Boasting the usual heart-shaped design, these ear drops will be available in blue, white, and pink hues and will only weigh three grams (which is a huge plus in my book). Finally a new geek-chic product to get excited about, except this product is a "Japan only" specialty and will cost around $31 when released later this month. Would you consider purchasing if you could find online somewhere?

They're totally interesting. But how do the sound? If they have a good clear rich sound than they're terrific if they sound like the replacement headphones you can get at the grocery store in the middle of the night when your cat bites your favorite headphones cord and the music store is closed then - no.
Yes, it's happened. Yes, I went to the grocery and bought headphones at 3am cause I needed my tunes on my way to work.

7I think they're so cute! (heart-shaped anything lures me in) but I would only buy them if they have good quality sound--and for $31, I doubt they do. I thought about buying them anyway (or putting them on my "to-buy" list since they aren't available) but I only use ear buds with my iPhone, which I rarely listen to. Unfortunately, I just can't think of a use for these pretty things.
