I realize that some of you geeks may not know what "Pwned" means, and for you, well, let's just say that if you were Rickrolled on April Fool's Day then you were pwned.
Even though it's my favorite geek term ever, I don't think I'd sport these Pwned Earrings on Etsy. But not because of what they say. Multicolored beaded earrings just are not necessarily how I would prefer to roll. But do I love them? Yes.
What do you think?

Azzedine Alaia
Anna Sui
Zoppini
Although I myself use the term "pwnd" often, I think the beaded look is too dated/ juvenile for me.
1I agree with you!
2I occasionally use the word "pwn" but these earrings look really tacky/cheap.
3Tacky.. cheap. I think hkcupcake_ summed it up pretty well.
4Yeah.
5They're made with those cruddy plastic alpha beads that I made bracelets with when I was seven...
Can someone pls spell out for me what PWND means?
6I don't get it even w/the quirky Rickrolled story.
pwned = owned.
DUDE I would so wear these if I wore earrings casually. Usually I only wear earrings to special/formal events, so these earrings would be out (haha) but I actually love them.
7I like them. But then again, I like quirky things so...eh. :]
8Fail.
9I have a friend who's very mature but also cutely kid-like, and I think these would make a great present for her!
10"Pwned" reminds me of my ex. But I agree with most who said they look juvenile, tacky and cheap.
11Leave 'Em!
12tacky aesthetics
13I love them! While I'd change the bead colors up, or maybe turn them into silver letters, I would DEFINITELY sport these.
14These earrings remind me of the 20-some year old girls that I recently met who were still into the raver culture and acting like they were 16... well, at least their education levels matched the age in which they were trying to stay in. I met them because they hung around a lot of my geeky guy-friends (and a couple of them were dating them), so I could see them picking up the word, while not getting it at the same time, and loving these earrings.
Agreed... Fail.
15They're kinda funny. I probably wouldn't wear them, though.
16they're funny but so 2 years ago!lol
17they made me laugh, but i would never wear them
18ew. are we 12??
19Where did this stupid "pwn" take off? Since when does domination not include a sexual overtone? This term is stupid and vanilla. It should be included in "stuff white people like"
20a little cheapy for my tastes but funny
21I don't really think it has anything to do with the color of your skin - I'm white and I have a) never heard of pwned and b) after reading the definition, would never even think to use it. And yes, I am a geek girl.
The earrings are cute, but I agree - not something I would wear - even if they said "geek" - too juvenile.
22Looks mediocre to me. I guess it's the beads...
23Fugly! These remind me of the jewelry my friends + I made for each other in 8th grade.
